When you have a garden, there’s a lot of work you have to do. Your garden is a full-time commitment, and you as an owner need to take care of it no matter what. Everyone can instantly notice when someone is not involved in taking care of their garden.

Because of this, you’ve decided to be more careful, and now you know exactly what you need to do. Growing nice and green grass and banishing those weeds is now a job, and for this, you need various products.

But what happens to these products? We can say only one thing, an important rule that many people skip: never leave your yard products outside! Occasionally when you’re short on storage space, this might seem like the only option, but in reality, doing this can be harmful.

Fertilizers, weed killers, plant feeds, and any other product of this nature should never be left outside. Most of these products are toxic, so they are incredibly dangerous for kids and pets. Then the changes in temperature can impact their effectiveness.

Make sure you store this type of product in a dry space, preferably a locked one. Furthermore, bags of mulch and soil can easily attract mice and rats, so always be careful about them.

  1. garden tools like rakes are easily stepped on- ouch! same goes for unused tomato cages- easy to trip and fall, especially at night and you forgot they were there
