Bicycles
Many households own bicycles, and this might also be the case for you. And having a bicycle or a scooter is a really nice idea. Especially if you have kids or you are an outdoor enthusiast, riding the bike is a fun activity.
But how do you store your bike? Is it possible that you are storing it in your yard? If you do this well, we have bad news. This is not the best practice. Besides the obvious risk of someone stealing your bike, leaving it outside can expose it to bad weather.
Rain and moisture make metal rust, and in the end, the corrosion will lead to long-term damage. What you can do is store your bikes and scooters in a sheltered place. A shed, a garage, or any other enclosed space is perfect.

garden tools like rakes are easily stepped on- ouch! same goes for unused tomato cages- easy to trip and fall, especially at night and you forgot they were there
Yard waste can be composted. This makes a wonderful amendment to garden soil and relieves stress on the landfill.
